I have been practicing with this group for some time now. There is a core group of dedicated practitioners who come and “play” taichi every morning, starting at 7 am, for four sets of the Yang 88 Style moves. Each set takes about 20 minutes, and with a ten minute break between the sets, the morning practice ends at 9 am, in time for the group to go and get some morning tea, maybe a nice warm congee.
I am one of the weekend participants; and I barely make it in time for the third and fourth sets at 8:10 am. I just learned that the three men who are the defacto leaders of the group are all in their eighties – which places me in the “baby” category of the group.
